About Sashi
Sashi has lived in Mill Valley for 10 years. Her husband grew up in Marin, and they are raising their daughter, Ava,
here in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Sashi is a small business owner who runs a business development
consultancy that helps put business partnerships and sponsorships together. In her work, she seeks to create incentives that
ensure mutual, long-term success for the partners.
Sashi has always been drawn to public service. She has served on numerous boards, including serving as president of the Shelter Ridge Homeowners Association in Mill Valley, as a member of the Bank of San Francisco Advisory Board, and as Secretary of the Oberlin Dance Collective Board of Directors. As a board member, she has helped manage multi-million dollar budgets.
Through her board and political commitments, Sashi learned firsthand how important a board's fiduciary duty to its members is, and how much work it takes to build and maintain a culture of transparency and cooperation.
"I will bring to this board a strong fiscal perspective, a bias towards conservation, and the
board experience to create a culture of communication, transparency and public participation.
Vote for me on November 2nd, and let's bring a much needed paradigm shift to the MMWD board.
